Finn Harps and Donegal Hospice have teamed up to launch an initiative which is sure to get a positive response from sports fans and the Donegal public.
For the rest of the season the back of every Finn Harps Jersey will have "supporting Donegal Hospice" emblazoned across it. A donation of €5 for every jersey sold will be forwarded to support Donegal Hospice services in the county.
Dr James McDaid, chairman of Donegal Hospice expressed his delight at the "innovative, novel idea which gave the Hospice a marketing opportunity it never had before”.
The annual Harps back of shirt draw was won this year by building contractor Seamus Gallagher from Cloghan who has kindly donated the prize to the Hospice.
Finn Harps chairman Joey O’Leary said “It gives us enormous satisfaction to launch this partnership with Donegal Hospice. In recent years we all have become increasingly aware of vital services and care the Hospice provides to people throughout the county. I am sure our supporters will be delighted support this initiative”.
The new Finn Harps jerseys are available on match nights or from the clubhouse during weekdays.
