Finn Harps physio Mickey McGlynn talks to Finn Harps Dot Com and updates us on the current injuries at Finn Park.
"Ciaran Gallagher has got clearance from the doctors to resume light, non contact training early next week. This is great news and we will follow doctors advice and monitor Ciaran daily and gradually build up his training. This will include fitness, goalkeeper specific work and then full contact training individually and with the rest of the team. We will follow this pattern for a few weeks and see his progress."
"Keith Cowan had his cast removed today (Wed 18th) and the specialist is happy that the two fractures have healed. We will now start to work with Keith to regain his full range of motion, to regain the muscle he has lost and to get his running and fitness back. We expect Keith to be running in 3-4 weeks"
"Stephen O'Donnell goes for his cruciate reconstruction next Tuesday in Belfast and unfortunately can expect to be around 8 months away from playing", added Mickey.
