Finn Harps will take a break from league action on Monday evening when they face neighbours Derry City in the EA Sports League Cup at Finn Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

Finn Harps moved up to second spot in the Airtricity League First Division table with a 1-0 victory over Mervue United at Finn Park on Friday night.  Sean McCarron scored the only goal of the game in first-half stoppage time with a strike that will no doubt be a contender for goal of the season.

After last week’s victory over league leaders Longford Town at the City Calling Stadium, Finn Harps can climb to second place on Friday if they can beat Mervue United at Finn Park (kick-off 8.00pm).

There were no jackpot winners in the Finn Harps Super 4 Lotto draw on Tuesday night last, 14th May.  The numbers drawn were 3, 9, 14 and 25. Next Tuesday's jackpot will be €2,400.

St. Colman’s Park has been the place to be this season if it’s goals you’re after, and it didn’t disappoint on Saturday evening as Cobh Ramblers and Finn Harps played out a 2-2 draw in the Airtricity League First Division.  Cobh struck first blood through Brian Fitzgerald, before Kevin McHugh equalised for the visitors. Davin O’Neill immediately pulled one back, but Sean McCarron (pictured) struck late to secure a point for the Harps.

After losing their unbeaten home record in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat against Waterford United, Finn Harps will be looking to get back on track again when they face their longest away trip of the season on Saturday night as they travel to St. Colmans Park to take on Cobh Ramblers (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Finn Harps Fran Fields Cup competitions take place from the 21st to the 23rd of May and once again schools from all over the county are taking part.  The rules, draws and schedules are available below.

Finn Harps will face Wexford Youths in the 2nd round of the FAI Cup.  Ties take place on the weekend of June 2nd.

Paudie Quinn netted the only goal of the game twelve minutes from time to condemn Finn Harps to their first home defeat of the season. Quinn stole in to nod home at the near post after Darragh Walshe had skipped by Damien McNulty to swing in the cross.

Finn Harps Football Club is set to launch a Youth Development Plan, which will see the club working with kids in the 10 – 18 year old age bracket.

Harps U19 players Cathal McDaid and Shaun Patton have been called up for the Republic of Ireland U18 squad.  Manager Paul Doolin has selected both Harps men in his squad that will be gathering in Birmingham at the start of May.  Best of luck to both with the Boys in Green!

 Waterford United are the visitors to Finn Park on Friday evening as Finn Harps look to continue their promotion push (kick-off 8.00pm).  Having returned to winning ways last week against Salthill Devon, Harps will be looking for another positive result on Friday against the men from the south-east.

The Barclay’s Premier League trophy and the Community Shield were on display at Finn Park on Friday night but at least the local support left the ground happy having seen Finn Harps get back to winning ways with a narrow win over 10-man Salthill Devon.

The Barclays Premier League trophy and FA Community Shield will make a visit to Finn Park during Friday night's game against Salthill Devon.  The two trophies, which Manchester City won last summer, will appear on the pitch at half-time of the game.

Finn Harps goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher will become the 57th player to play 100 league games for the club when he lines-up between the posts for the visit of Salthill Devon to Finn Park on Friday evening (kick-off 8.00pm).
