Ahead of our game in Limerick this week, we’ve gathered information and advice for Harps fans travelling to the game.  Note there is a 54 Crew bus running to this game, book by Wednesday, their Facebook page is HERE. Note Harps fans will be accommodated in the East Stand, see Markets Field layout above.  Detail of match night arrangements can be found HERE and tickets can be purchased in advance HERE. Please note that there are no Terrace Tickets available for away supporters.  Tickets will be on sale from Mulgrave Street kiosk on the night also.

Travel & Parking:
The traffic management plan is shown above, with detail of the plan available on the Limerick website, linked above.  Markets Field is not far from the city centre, so there are a lot of options for parking, including those shown below.
Public transport: Limerick is easily accessible from Dublin and Galway via Public Transport.  Rail is an option, but trains to Dublin and Galway do not run late enough to allow return on the night.  Dublin Coaches are an option, although the return service is pretty late at 01:45.  Bus Eireann are an option also, but the timetable is even less friendly.  From Galway the news is better as Citylink run late enough to return on the night.

 

Where to get a Pint and/or Food:

Jerry O Dea’s is recommended for a pint and food before the game.  There is also a pub just outside the away end called The Track Bar.  Note it is not permitted to leave the ground at half time for a pint.

Hot food and confectionery will be available within the Stadium.

Anything else to know?

There should be a large travelling support so allow some time to get into the ground.  Security personnel will perform a quick search on your way into the ground. Supporters who seek to enter the ground while intoxicated will be refused entry.Disabled patrons who are away supporters can gain access Markets Field Terrace / Geraldine Villas .
