Kevin McHugh

The Finn Harps U15s interest in the national competition is over after Kevin McHugh’s boys could only manage a draw in the final play-off series game against Shamrock Rovers at the Roadstone Academy Grounds. Harps needed a victory to book a place in the semi-finals of the competition. It was the second time for McHugh’s side to share the spoils against an opposition who are managed by former Republic of Ireland international star Damian Duff. Last month it was a 2-2 draw in Killygordon. McHugh has paid tribute to the commitment of the players since last January and those efforts reaped a string of excellent result in the league that saw the squad qualify for the national play-off series.
