Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has confirmed that midfielders Paddy McCourt and Mark Coyle are awaiting scans to determine the extent of injuries picked up in last Friday night’s away win over Drogheda Utd. Horgan was speaking at a press conference this afternoon in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny as Harps look forward to a big League of Ireland First Division clash against Longford Town in Ballybofey on Friday night (kick-off 8.00).
The manager confirmed that Nathan Boyle’s signing had only been cleared by the FAI shortly after 5.30 on Friday evening ahead of the game in Drogheda. Horgan is hoping to bring in two more players but that is subject to international clearance, which the club is awaiting. The Harps manager also called for a big turnout of supporters for the Longford game and appealed to fans to especially give the young players encouragement on the field to allow them to achieve their full potential as the team strives to stay in contention for promotion. Horgan was joined at the press conference by vice-captain Keith Cowan.
