Ahead of the game in Galway this weekend, we’ve gathered information and advice for Harps fans travelling to the game.  Thanks to Ray Noonan at Wexford FC for helping out. Note there is no supporter bus planned for this game.  As always, live updates and commentary from the game will be available via Mobstats HERE

Directions, Travel & Parking:

Approach on the M6 Motorway which becomes the N6.  Follow the N6 by going right (second exit, sign for Galway City (West)) at the first roundabout and then straight through three sets of lights.  At the roundabout take the third exit passing the Menlo Park Hotel on your right.  Turn left at the T junction and Terryland Park is on the left after about 250m.  There is a large car park at Terryland but you need to be in good time.  Cars also park along the Dyke Road and there is a car park beyond Terryland at the Black Box theatre also.  Some also choose to park in the Dun na Corribe Estate- to get to this you would take the 2nd exit instead of the third and then turn right opposite Dunnes Stores on the Headford Road / N6.

Public transport:

The city buses in Galway aren’t very helpful for getting to Eamon Deacy Park from the town centre so your best bet is to either walk or get a taxi.  Galway is well served by public transport including the train but unless you are using Citylink or GoBus to go back to Dublin it finishes too early to get home again.  Bus Eireann Route 64 and Feda O Donnell Buses both serve Galway.

Where to get a Pint and or Food:

Our friends at McGettigan’s have a pub just off the square.   The closest pubs are either those on Wood Quay (McGinns is nice and does food) or else in the Menlo Park Hotel.

Matchday Prices:

Adult €12
Student / Senior Citizen (Valid ID required) €8
Under-12 €5
Family Ticket – Two adults and two kids (under-12s) €25

Anything else to know?

The bar that was previously in the ground is no longer open.  Information for disabled supporters can be found HERE.  Harps have launched a World Cup Prediction competition costing just €10 to enter, details HERE
