The Finn Harps U17s and U19s both face Derry City tomorrow in attractive North West derbies. A victory for the U17s at Finn Park (kick-off 2.00) would see Declan Boyle’s boys leapfrog the Candystripes in the Northern Elite Section. The Candystripes are currently fourth in the table with Harps next and two points behind.

The 17s have drawn their last two games so Boyle will be anxious that his side gets back to winning ways tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, the Finn Harps U19s travel to the Brandywell (kick-off 2.00) to take on Derry City and aiming to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Joe Boyle’s outfit currently lead the table by three points while Derry has been struggling a bit and are seventh. That’s nine points behind Harps so one would expect the Candystripes to put in a big shift tomorrow in a bid to improve their position in the Elite Northern Section. Last weekend Harps had a 2-0 win over Athlone with in-form striker Zach Gorman on the mark again along with Ryan Finn.

After a break from the action last week the Finn Harps U15s return to play Bohemians FC tomorrow at the Gweedore Celtic ground An Screaban (kick-off 2.00). It’s a meeting of the top two with Kevin McHugh’s side unbeaten and amassing 13 points from their five games in the league campaign. So the scene is set for a big battle at An Screaban and a chance for the 15s move clear a the summit.
