At yesterday afternoon’s press conference in the Radisson Hotel, Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan expressed his frustration at the early decision to call of his side’s game against Longford Town, which was scheduled to take place on this Friday night in Ballybofey. While acknowledging the severe weather conditions that were developing in the east and south of the country at that time Horgan felt that a decision on the Harps game should have left till later in the week.
Finn Harps now hope to get their competitive season up and running on this Monday night against the Mayo League in the first round of the EA Sports Cup in Ballybofey (kick-off 7.45). Harps will be at home again on next Friday night the 9th of March in what the club hopes will be their first league game of the 2018 campaign.
