The FAI has announced the short-listed nominees for the FAI Communications Awards and Finn Harps FC are delighted to confirm the club has been short-listed for Best Digital Initiative. The club’s Unify and Defy videos showcased the club, the locality, the league and of course the talent and hard work of our partners at DIAGA Design.
Finn Harps Commercial Officer Aidan Campbell expressed his happiness at the news, “Above all we are delighted for Ciarán MacLochlainn and Anicka Krajickova at DIAGA. They have supported the club for many years and since getting involved with the design and marketing side for us have drawn praise from many quarters for the quality of their work. Not only do they provide these services free of charge- DIAGA also regularly sponsor the club, and Ciaran organises the supporter buses that regularly come to our home games from Buncrana. This really is a great example of the power of fan ownership and active support making the club stronger and helping us get our message out there.”
“The videos may be relatively short, but there is a huge amount of thought put into them. They tie together our rich history, the beauty and character of Donegal and the Northwest, the excitement and atmosphere of live football at Finn Park and above all the determination within Finn Harps to once more unify as a club and defy the odds we’re up against this season. We are immensely proud of what DIAGA have achieved, and look forward to continuing the partnership for many years to come.”
We would also like to congratulate Donegal Sport Hub for their short-listing in the same category. It speaks well of the passion for football and talent in the Northwest that we have managed to secure 2 out of 3 slots on the short list.
The Unify and Defy videos are shown below. At least one more is planned before the end of the current campaign.
