The following statement is from acting Harps chairman James Rodgers:
On behalf of Finn Harps F.C., I am delighted to be here this evening at the opening of the new offices of PJD construction and on the occasion of the launch of the Finn Harps apartment draw.
It is reflective of the ambition of P.J and his company that he would want to open up offices in Letterkenny, a town that is at the commercial hub of Donegal! P.J is to be commended on his work to date through out the county and it is refreshing to think that at this time of economic downturn, that this young and energetic company would want to open up new developments on the continent. Having viewed the plans of this project in Bulgaria it is further testament to a young man with class, and who has a very astute business acumen!
This year F.H.F.C have gone from a semi-professional team to a club that is professional. Apart from a full time playing staff, the manager and back room team are also full time. This structure is further complimented with the recent appointment of full time administrative staff with the support of a club promotion officer and a commercial manager. Of course all of this takes significant monies and it is with sponsorship, the likes we see here tonight that all of the above can be sustained. P.J and his company must be congratulated and thanked sincerely for this generous sponsorship in the form of this apartment. We hope that the public would buy a ticket in this draw and by doing so not alone might their dream come true but it will help Finn Harps realise theirs.
James Rodgers.
